Scott or David?
Scott Gorman is the on air name of David Ventrello, founder of Detour Traffic. The actual Scott Gorman is a resident of Scotland in the UK, and is a friend from David's childhood. David had to think of an alias early one morning in 2006 when he was filling in for Elroy the Traffic Boy on short notice. While there's nothing wrong with the name Scott Gorman, it probably wouldn't be his first choice, but it popped in to his head, and it stuck.
David Ventrello was born and raised in the Glasgow area of Scotland in the UK by missionary parents. He moved to the Upstate area to further his education with the study of Broadcasting, and has lived here ever since. He lives in the Greenville area with his wife Jenni and their new son, Aiden. David enjoys spending time with his family, audio and video editing, working on cars, running his business, and being involved in his local church.
